The comments are similarly toxic as they are left by folks that watch Fox and CNN unironically. I try to avoid the front page which is typically littered with BS about the Mueller report and impeachment, "I am oppressed AMA", the mandatory "genderfluidity is scientific B)" thread, and "hee-hoo wy peepo, am i rite?" coming from r/blackpeoplewhatever. (Hopefully, it also means that conservative-minded youths are doing something more productive than browsing the internet.) I have an account and I mainly hang around the subreddits that are tied to my personal interests. That's not that shocking though since most folks that live in Western countries and browse websites like Reddit are usually liberal. That's probably why r/gaming shut itself down in an effort to appeal to its overlords and avoid problems in the long run.

Any of the subreddits that come up on the front page are going to be viewed and commented on primarily by liberals.
